Details
This software allows for:
- management of a database containing records of (main, local, and low-parameter) heat network, as well as records of heat centers,
- textual and graphic representation of information contained in a database,
- pipeline flow recording in three-dimensional space, as well as visualization from any point in space,
- use of half-tone images in BMP, JPG, TIFF and ECW formats as a layer in network visualization,
- use of a hierarchical database working in the client/server architecture,
- SQL queries created in the SQL visual generator,
- making various kinds of statistical lists prepared both within the system and with the use of built-in visual report generator,
- use of data vocabularies,
- management of archives with scanned documents in BMP, JPG, TIFF, PCX i PNG formats,
- creation of network chamber diagram databases,
- graphic access towards calculation schemes for the main network and a local network,
- making hydraulic calculations for a freely selected part of a heat network in compliance with the PN-76/M-34034 Standard,
- making in-transmission heat loss calculations (use was made of the PN-85/B-02421 Standard and ABB catalogues),
- making calculations for local resistance and unit heat losses with the use of shown formulas defined in the Basic language,
- tabular and graphic display of results (a drawing of the network with isolines of: area height, pressures, inflow times and temperature, route profiles),
- coverage of network-specific solutions (for instance: intermediate pumping stations, co-operation between heat sources in an open ring network,
- calculations for both winter and summer seasons,
- considerations for both existing and planned conditions,
- verification of the mathematical model's compliance with real measurements,
- analysis of modernization aimed at increasing heat system's capacity,
- network failure analysis,
- calculations for orifices upon buildings' heat center inputs, and for compensation orifices for winter and summer seasons,
- data reentrancy by multiple users,
- database protection against unauthorized access,
- system integration with other systems using XML [eXtensible Markup Language] format documents and AutoCad DXF [Drawing eXchange Format] files.
The software's characteristic features include:
- user-friendly graphic interface,
- no highly advanced computer literacy needed to operate the system,
- possibility to work both with small-scale lay-outs (eliminating a difficult issue of map scanning or digitalization) and high precision coordinates in the three-dimensional space,
- scalability according to user requirements, which means that the system may be operated both in one-station option and multi-station option in peer-to-peer type computer network or with a dedicated server,
- both the client software and the server software is delivered in a complete set, so there is no need to purchase any additional programs,
- stability of work is guaranteed by the client/server architecture applied,
- compliance with the year 2000 adhered,
- components used cut down on the system's TCO [Total Cost of Ownership].
The Calidus information technology system is a 32-bit software that works in the client/server architecture. It requires any IBM/PC compatible microcomputer working under one of the following operating systems: Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 or Windows Server 2003/2008/2012/2016. TCP/IP and IPX/SPX network protocols are serviced. NDS [Novell Directory Services] is used in NetWare networks, and Active Directory is used in Microsoft networks.
For small-size heat systems, we use some attractive rebates. If you are in possession of other companies' software with which you are not satisfied, you have an opportunity to replace it with our most reliable product. Data from such systems as PSR and OSC may now be imported into the Calidus system without any problems whatsoever.
If you have any questions on the Calidus system or if you need any additional advice, please do not hesitate to contact us.
